Badge Production and smart card material
We produce, we print, we personalize and encode plastic cards, smart cards, company cards, university cards as well as RFID key fobs, RFID wristbands and RFID labels according to customers' requirements. First of all, we do this in our company own production facilities, here in Villingen-Schwenningen (Germany). Our complete device for the production and personalization of ID card and ID media will ensure high quality products. By the way, for the digital printing of cards and sales brochures IDENTA has been equipped with a HP INDIGO 5500 Digital Press (Digital Printing Machine).
Use of Overlay foils: When IDENTA prints digital offset, the cards will be laminated (after the printing) with a overlay foil. So the brilliant print will be protected against dust, abrasion and light. We recommend also the use of holographic foils after printing, which makes imitation of the ID card nearly impossible.

PET Composite Cards - the IDENTA premium cards
PET composite cards are very high-quality cards made of a modern composite material for a longer lifecyle. In order to reach this quality level we have laminated biaxially oriented polyester in a symmetrical structure together with PVC.
Advantages:
- improved breaking resistance
- high thermal stability
- longer life cycle
- reduced bending (at a card material thickness of 0,95mm)
The PET composite cards are available with the same chip/technology as the standard PVC cards (with contact or contactless). You can also order in high-definition printing quality, equipped with the latest security features etc.

Pre-printed plastic cards
Pre-printed plastic cards are available in standard colours: red (Pantone P200), dark blue (Pantone P295), green (Pantone P349), yellow (Pantone P3935) and light blue (Pantone P2915).
For small qantities pre-printed cards are well worth it. If you use them, you can save printing costs and the delivery time will be reduced . These pre-printed cards can be printed unicouloured or multicoloured (e.g. with your company logo, card numbers etc.) and can be equipped with the preferred technology.

PVC Cards
IDENTA uses as a standard card material mainly Polyvenylchlorid (PVC).
Temperature resistant Polycarbonat (PC) cards
The life cycle of a PC card is nearly twice as long as of a PVC card. On average about 10 years depending on use. Further advantages of PVC cards are heat resistance and resistance against outside influences such as pressure and light.
As the PC card material cannot be printed directly, IDENTA equips the card with an additional PVC layer. So the PC card can be printed with a standard card printer.
