The security of LEGIC prime media is often discussed at this time. We recommend our customers primarily the use of a bug-proof, non-readable card holder or/and the interception protection for RFID key fobs in order to prevent a cloning of the transponder information. This all will help to make a system attack very difficult. 

In general for the purpose of allocating the ID card to the employee, your company cards should be personalized visually. With the use of adequate security features (e.g. holograms, Microscript etc.) the ID card will get more forgery-safe.

In the long run we would advise you to consider a migration to a more secure technology for your RFID media. The use of combination cards will be recommended, e.g. the combination of LEGIC prime with a second technoloy such as LEGIC advant or other secure transponders. 

A further increase of security can be reached by introducing an additional verification of biometrical data or a Pin-Lock request.
